Our Census Collaborative Infrastructure
CFC, along with Funders’ Committee for Civic Participation, United Family Forum and others, have been encouraging funders to begin preparing for the 2030 Census.
In 2025, CFC put out a call-to-action encouraging funders to organize convenings to discuss the importance of the census and begin developing philanthropic coordinated or collaborative plans. By the end of 2025, funders in 39 states offered to host or co-host events to help foundations and other donors get ready. As the map below shows, many of these events have already been held and more are slated for 2026.
